These healthy bars are great for taking as a snack on a hike, to work, or to school. They are sure to refuel you when you need it!
My interest in eating healthier started with looking at a Macrobiotic diet and I decided to try it for a week and needed a good snack and so this was the perfect snack! I have adapted it to use easier and simpler ingredients, but these delicious bars are great in keeping you full and satisfied!

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 16 small bars
INGREDIENTS
- 1 c Pumpkin Seeds, raw
- 1 c Sunflower Seeds, raw
- 1 c Silvered Almonds, raw
- 1/2 c Sesame seeds, raw
- 1/2 c Peanuts, raw
- 1/2 c Cranberries
- 1/3 c Agave Nectar
- 2 Tbsp Tahini
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
- Evenly layout all your seeds and nuts on a baking pan. Bake for 8-12 minutes until golden.
- Remove seeds and nuts from pan and place in a mixing bowl with cranberries.
- In a microwave safe small bowl, microwave the agave until boiling.
- Add tahini into small bowl with agave and mix thoroughly.
- Pour sweetener mixture into large bowl of nuts, seeds, and cranberries and combine thoroughly.
- Pour bar mixture onto a cookie sheet, glass pan, wax pepper, or silicone baking mat and mold into a 1 inch tall rectangle.
- Let cool in the refrigerator for 10 minutes and then slice it up into bars.
Originally, I used Brown Rice Syrup, but I couldn’t find any in 3 different grocery stores that I normally will buy my groceries from; therefore, I decided to try and recreate the recipe using a more common sweetener that is easier to find. This is very simple, quick, and easy to make, so I hope you ENJOY this recipe!
