These vegan banana foster bites (AKA Banana Bombers) will satisfy all your sweet cravings. You can feel good about eating these healthy sweet snacks!
As beautiful as it can be growing up in a tropical place like Hawaii, there is one thing, or should I say creature, that wasn’t my favorite. We like to call them B-52 Bombers in Hawaii because these large flying cockroaches are no joke. These B-52 Bombers haunted my dreams countless nights. I would see one in my room, run to grab my dad’s slipper (only because his were the biggest) and come back to see it gone.
You may be wondering where I am going with this... just recently I had one of my friends try a date but she was a bit reluctant because she said they looked a bit like cockroaches. I can't seem to get that image out of my head, but I will always love dates!
My long winded introduction leads to how I developed the name of these quick, easy, and tasty treats… BANANA BOMBERS! I was craving something sweet and had limited items in my kitchen, so I did what all recipe developers do and got crafty. I managed to throw this together and was blown away with how much it tasted like banana foster (caramelized banana). It requires no baking, no cooking, and nothing except just a few minutes of your time!
