Healthy, quick, and cheap. That's what best describes making your own almond milk at home!
One of my favorite nut milks to drink is Almond Milk and I usually will buy the big 3 pack from Costco, but one day I decided to try and make my own Almond Milk because I learned that the Almond Milk you buy in the stores are watered down. Since I love to have Almond Milk in my coffee, smoothies, cereal, and oats I decided to try and make my own and it has changed my life. The store bought milk uses a 4:1 ratio for cups of water to cups of almonds, but I used a 2:1 ratio and it makes a world of a difference. You will need to invest in a nut milk bag; however, they are very inexpensive. I use Ellie’s Best Bigger Better Nut Milk Bag and it’s amazing.
