Almond Milk

Healthy, quick, and cheap. That's what best describes making your own almond milk at home!

Almond Milk

One of my favorite nut milks to drink is Almond Milk and I usually will buy the big 3 pack from Costco, but one day I decided to try and make my own Almond Milk because I learned that the Almond Milk you buy in the stores are watered down. Since I love to have Almond Milk in my coffee, smoothies, cereal, and oats I decided to try and make my own and it has changed my life. The store bought milk uses a 4:1 ratio for cups of water to cups of almonds, but I used a 2:1 ratio and it makes a world of a difference. You will need to invest in a nut milk bag; however, they are very inexpensive. I use Ellie’s Best Bigger Better Nut Milk Bag and it’s amazing. 3. Blend until almonds are completely broken down.
